PPMS Donates Equipment to UND FSAE

Richard Schnabel, President and CEO of Purple Patch Motorsports, donates Firecharger System to The University of North Datakota's Society of Automotive Engineers Formula race team. Read what Luke Legatt has to say about the team below.

Richard,

Thank you again for your support of UND FSAE. Your firecharger system was a big hit among the judges and there is talk of requiring an on board fire supression system in the future for these competitions. Our team placed 39th overall, the best finish ever by our university, with finishes of 6th in acceleration and 12th in design. We would have been in the top 20, but we were unable to restart the vehicle for the second heat of the final event.
