Hutchens
Head and Neck Restraints are an essential part of the safety system. The number one cause of death in race cars has been head and neck related injuries. Products like the Safety Solution: “Hutchens Device”, D-cel harness and Simpson Performance’s Head and Neck Restraint are affordable protection against such injuries. These products have proven their effectiveness in laboratory testing as well as real world accidents. Because of their proven effectiveness, they have been mandated and/or highly recommended in NASCAR’s touring series, including Winston Cup, IRL, SCCA Pro, Grand AM, ARCA, ASA, WoO, and many local sanctioning bodies and tracks. The restraint systems limit the amount of load that an occupant sees during an impact. They do this by restricting the amount of head motion, thus reducing the potential for injury.
The Safety Solutions Head and Neck Device is a restraining system worn by race car drivers to reduce head and neck injuries. It is a system of straps worn outside of the drivers’ suit, tethers with a quick release mechanism attached to D-rings on the helmet and a positive anchor point that attaches into the seatbelt. One movement will release the harness, enabling quick escape in the event of a fire. The Safety Solution Head and Neck Device comes with hardware and instructions for self assembly.

D-Cell
The D-cel is a strap device which does not rely on the seat belts. Fully independent, it can be used in any racing application. The safest device for GoKarts, Quads, and motocross. With its extra foward strap on the Quick Release, it is great for racers who have rollover or multiple impacts. Available in small, medium, large and extra large. R3 Rage
The R3 Rage, a composite counter part to the R3 Carbon Fiber Model, offers the same advantages as all our carbon fiber models. Comfort, simplicity and security are advantages you’ll enjoy without breaking the bank.
This Device is also available in an “In Seat” version. This version allows the driver to exit the car while leaving the device in the car. The chest strap in this version is eliminated and angular straps connect to the top of seat belt buckle instead. When the driver un-hooks the seatbelt the device un-hooks as well. A winged device pad Velcros the device to the seat only to hold it in position when not hooked up to the driver. This version is the perfect option for pro-stock, pro-mods, and for tight confines.

R3
The R3 is the only SFI certified device that is totally independent of the seat belts. Engineered to disappear, the R3 is one of the most comfortable devices on the market! Combined with a simple installation of a u-shaped seat pad, the R3 disappears into the seat back, making the R3 undetectable to the wearer. The R3 out performs yoke style devices in all impacts. The low top allows for easier exit.Can be used with all seatbelts (including 3 point) and is the only SFI restraint that can be used without Seatbelts!

Hybrid Pro Rage New!
The Hybrid Pro Rage is a carbon fiber composite version of our full carbon fiber Pro model. The Rage has the same SFI Certification and great features of the more expensive model. It is slightly heavier (.7 lbs), but it it unnoticeable due to it's strap design. Great protection at an affordable price!

Hybrid X
The Hybrid X, a modification of the NASCAR approved Hybrid, was engineered to protect the head in side to side vibrations, as well as protecting the head and neck in frontal and angular impacts that occur in drag racing. The Hybrids patented technology is a unique adaptation of the R3 technology with increased shoulder belt interaction and a shorter back. The restraint uses a combination of the R3 chest strap and a set of angular front buckle straps that hook into the top of the seat belt buckle system. This arrangement produces a comfortable and stable restraint that excels in angular and multiple impact situations. The Hybrid uses multiple load paths to redirect the head loads and a combination of carbon fiber and straps to make the most secure device ever.
